The Role: Project Coordinator
Become the organizational backbone of our most ambitious projects. As the Project Coordinator at Potentia, you are the essential link that ensures seamless execution and communication. You will work at the heart of our project teams, providing critical support that transforms complex plans into successful realities.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the right hand to our Project Managers, providing robust day-to-day support to drive project momentum.
- Contribute to the development, tracking, and execution of project schedules and budgets, ensuring key milestones are met.
- Coordinate, prepare for, and actively participate in key meetings with clients, architects, and consultants.
- Master the flow of information by preparing and distributing meticulous meeting minutes to keep all stakeholders aligned.
- Manage and track all critical project documentation with precision, including Change Orders, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Draft and format compelling proposal documents for review and submission.
- Process and track consultant invoices and client payments, ensuring financial accuracy.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in building or infrastructure projects.
- An educational or professional background in engineering, general contracting, or building science.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, paired with strong business acumen.
- A proven ability to thrive under pressure, masterfully prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Versatility to contribute across a diverse range of projects.
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with an unwavering drive to learn and succeed.
- Strong conflict resolution and time management skills.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
The Role: Project Manager
Lead complex projects from vision to reality. As a Project Manager at Potentia, you are the trusted leader and central point of contact for our clients. You will own the project’s success, steering it with strategic foresight, technical expertise, and a relentless commitment to quality from initial concept through to final delivery.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of establishing, monitoring, and controlling project budgets and schedules to achieve all strategic targets.
- Lead the project planning process with clients, defining clear objectives, identifying potential risks, and charting the course for success.
- Assemble and lead high-performance design, consultant, and contractor teams.
- Provide critical oversight and feedback to the design team to ensure quality, constructability, and cost targets are consistently met.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, fostering strong relationships through clear, consistent, and proactive communication.
- Champion continuous improvement by contributing innovative ideas to enhance company processes and project delivery methods.
- Actively contribute to our firm’s growth by identifying new opportunities and building our network.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 3-7 years of progressive experience, with a proven track record of successfully delivering building or infrastructure projects as a Project Manager.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, backed by strong business acumen.
- Demonstrated versatility in managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of project types.
- A sharp, analytical mind with the ability to prioritize effectively and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Outstanding delegation and time management capabilities.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, P.Eng, or LEED AP are considered strong assets.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
